Rabbits are not very good at trust exercises

This is me (the rabbit on the right) and Wayne (rabbit falling) all the time. I’m staring off into space as he talks to me and when I notice, he just sighs and asks, “You weren’t even listening, were you? You never listen.” He’s joking because he knows I don’t do it intentionally, but it kills me every time. I’m trying to do better.

I saw this (and it’s story) on facebook, but at the very end it said, “How many likes for this marine?!” I absolutely refuse to encourage that kind of crap. A “like” isn’t going to change a life, it’s not going to stop a war, it’s not going to cure cancer. It just lets people say that they care about something without having to actually do something.
However, I thought it was a touching story, so I decided to reblog the picture/story here.
This is a marine, who found four baby bunnies next to their mother who had died. Instead of leaving them, he took them in and continued to take care of them until they were old enough to release back to the wild.
I think is amazing. When I see things like this, my faith in humanity is restored just a little bit. I mean, look at this little bunny. It’s adorable. And because one dude decided he couldn’t let another living creature to die, it will grow up and live what I hope to be a good life for a bunny.
